This year’s conference topic will be:

New Millennium – New Goals?

The aim of our conference will be to set our own goals on how we, the next generation, want to shape the new millennium. Participate and take your part in this intricate process of designing a world you would like to live in. Choose to join one of our regular committees or a crisis committee; become a judge in the ICJ or become a reporter for one of the largest news stations in the world. Bring your own individual talents to the conference and share it with equally passionate delegates. Experience first hand the communication and cooperation that is possible between seemingly opposite cultures from Germany and Pakistan. We live in a time where the term globalism doesn’t necessarily have a positive notion when it comes to economics. Exploitation comes to mind when global players use weaker countries as a means of cheap work force, maintaining everlasting imbalance of power and wealth. At Eurasia MUN participants are able to experience a whole new level of globalism and exchange. Afterall we are citizens of this world, bound to live together and find solutions to the problems we are faced in our modern times.

Sign up now and take your place in a brighter future!

Millennium Development Goals 2015

This year´s conference will take place in June under the slogan New Millennium, New Goals?
But what are these goals?

In September 2000, world leaders from United Nation´s member states came together in New York to adopt the United Nation´s Millennium Declaration, committing their nations to a new global partnership for creating humane conditions and reducing extreme poverty for all by the year 2015.

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are addressing extreme poverty in its many dimensions: hunger, disease, lack of adequate shelter, income poverty, and exclusion, while promoting gender equality, education, and environmental sustainability. They are likewise basic human rights – the right of each person on earth to survival, health, education, shelter, and security.

For more detailed information please check out our Facebook Page. There we will present every week a goal individually.
